DETAILED CONTENTS
Introduction on p.7 by Dr. Poynton: "This is the script of what I believe to be the first address on the history of the evolution of early Aeronautics given in this country with the assistance of 60 lantern slides out of the 159 which I bequeathed to the Royal Aeronautical Society as of possible historical interest. It was never read, but was the guiding pointer to the slides. First demonstrated to the Royal Society of Medicine in Feb. 1926, in one form or another it was given in the provinces and at various public and Private Schools and also at London Hospitals...
Twelve photographs from these slides have been used in illustrations... To these are added some extra illustrations extending the history."
The text later extended to include references to the 2nd world war.
