Folio 105. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to Walter May Barton, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union acknowledging receipt of his letter of 30 January 1885 together with its enclosure stating that G Taylor [George Taylor], Public Vaccinator for the Mattishall district of the Mitford and Launditch Union has failed to deliver to the Vaccination Officer within the period prescribed by Vaccination Act 1871, 34 & 35 Vic c 98 s 7 the required certificates containing cases of successful vaccinations performed by Taylor. With regards to the enquiry made by the guardians concerning his payment, the Board is not aware of any legal objection to the proposed payments.
