Sense unclear, but enough text survives to identify the originals.] Copies of various documents relating to Canterbury Cathedral Priory's rights of free warren, with witness lists: (1) Grant by Henry III of rights of free warren in the priory's lands in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Devon, 12 Feb 1264 (as in DCc-ChAnt/C/78). (2) Grant and confirmation by Edward II of Henry III's grant, dated 14 Jul 1316 (as in DCc-ChAnt/C/81 and DCc-ChAnt/C/82). (3) Record of proceedings before Stephen of Penshurst relating to alleged enfringements of the priory's rights of free warren in its demesnes of Eastry and Lydden, 1 Mar 1291 (as in DCc-ChAnt/E/173). (4) Grant of free warren in the priory's manors by Edward III, dated 12 Apr 1364 (as in DCc-ChAnt/C/103). No date. [Date: handwriting.]
