Vacuum and Blowing Engines (6 items).
Double-acting engine, with 43 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam.
Reverse longitudinal section of the engine house and view of the lever wall (with drawing of water regulator on the back, and marked "see another drawing), cross-section of the engine house, plan of the engine house; reverse longitudinal section of the engine house and view of the lever wall (later version marked "No. 2"); working gear - partially coloured reverse front and side views (also used for Benjamin Gibbons & Co.'s 42 inch engine, 1809); sketch of the beam, with notes; sketch plan of the air pump and condenser. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.
