The unnamed lodge was established in 1785 and was held in the First Battalion Royal Artillery. In 1785 the regiment was based in Gibraltar and in 1789 they moved to New Brunswick, North America. In 1792 the regiment and lodge moved to Woolwich, London, meeting at the Ordnance Arms, Beresford Square, Woolwich. From this date the lodge remained in the Woolwich area, although it did move between taverns. In 1826 the lodge united with the Royal Marine Lodge, No. 418 of Woolwich, London and Lodge No. 13 of the Barracks Tavern, Woolwich Common, London. After uniting the lodge was named the Union Waterloo Lodge and met at the Barracks Tavern, Woolwich Common, London. The Union Waterloo Lodge No. 13 is still working and now meets at Dartford Masonic Hall, West Hill, Dartford, Kent.
