The bundle includes a letter from Rupert S Allen of Queen's Engineering Works, Bedford re: brightening up the Fire Brigade Competitions (1952); headed letter from Meltis Ltd. nominating D.R.V.Tate as Vice Chairman (1953); letters of thanks to auditor, H.S.Shurety of the British Tabulating Machine Co., from Nesta Cullip of Houghton Road, Bedford re: honorarium (1953); letter from A.F.Stone, Treasurer, re: standing down, and nominating P.H.Skinner, Safety Officer at the College of Aeronautics; discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of the Association becoming a member of the British Fire Services Association (1953); a list of the rules and proposed amendments re: the Association and the inter-company Competitions (1954); and a retirement presentation to E.R.Stanford of Bedford Fire Service (1954). New members of the Association are:
