Description

Mortgage for £1,000 and re-settlement of equity of redemption of mortgaged premises, (1) Winifred Clark of the city of Winchester, Hants., spinster, (2) Caroline Annabella Emily Palmyra Hartley of Winchester, spinster, only surviving child of Anne Maria Hartley, wife of William Hartley of Winchester, a major in the African Corps, (3) George Streater Kempson of Abingdon Street, Westminster, gent., and John Henry Arrow of Holywell Street, Westminster, gent.

Messuages called Deavers House and homestead, Shaps House and homestead, Harepath Cottage and garden; also a number of closes (names and acreages given).

All in Burbage and being subject to uses expressed in will of John Clark, gent., deceased, which was proved 20 March 1822. Now (1) and (2) mortgage to (3).

The mortgage is enclosed with three deeds : 13 March 1856, Transfer of mortgage to Carteret John Halford Fletcher on trust to transfer to within-named G.S. Kempson and to Thomas Spreckley of 124 Wood Street, London, gent., jointly.

14 March 1856 Transfer in pursuance of above.

10 December 1870 Reconveyance of premises to Miss Hartley.
