Description

The contents of this file (with one exception) were formerly in a bundle, labelled (see /31):
Great Tew, Cashier’s Vouchers, Bailiff & Agent’s Accounts, 1816
The five "Miscellaneous Accounts" listed first (1-5) were formerly folded up together and labelled "Farm Expenditure, 1816." (The label appears on the first sheet of 4.) The Farmer’s Account Book (6) was not in the bundle, but belongs with these records.
The remaining documents form two series of regular accounts:
M. R. Boulton Disbursements Accounts, 14 April -14 December. (7-13)
Farm Expenditure Accounts, 6 May-28 December. (14-30)
These were formerly in a single chronological sequence, but they have now been separated into two. Each of the uniform accounts covers a period starting on a Monday and ending on a Saturday, except where stated otherwise.
