552. Minera Mine, Denbighshire. Jul, Aug. 1783, Mar. 1788, Mar. 1797. 16 items.
Single-acting engine, with 50 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, chain connection, unequal beam.

Reverse general view of the engine, plan of the engine and boiler, cross-sections of the boiler, inside front view of the engine and longitudinal section of the boiler and chimney, outside front view of the engine and boiler and chimney, plan of the engine and boiler from the 1st floor; reverse plan and section of the boiler; beam - side view and reverse view of the upper side; eduction pipe - direct and reverse copies; beam strap ends, glands, cross bars, martingales, chain links, catch pin, plug tree bracket etc. - 2 sheets of reverse drawings; unmarked plans of working gear; memorandum of plates needed for 2 boilers.
Also sheet of reverse drawings of engine house marked "New Minera Engine 12 Mar. 1788" and "From Craven Cross with alterations" - these drawings were possibly for the engine for Caemuneth West mine.
Also reverse plans and sections of old and new boilers, Mar. 1797. These drawings bear letter codes.

For the Maesyfynnon Wen Company. Minera lead mine, Maesyfynnon Wen, Minera, Denbighshire. The proprietors included John Wilkinson, James Stockdale, Robert Burton and Joseph Thackeray.
