Like the correspondence, the vouchers were once in original bundles, probably arranged annually, but some have been mixed and merged. They have been listed as found, 2741 M/F/V/ 44-47 are entirely miscellaneous and have been arranged in date order. The London house-hold bills are from all kinds of London tradesmen and cover expenditure on food, drink, clothing, household and luxury goods, with many bill-heads. The Exeter and Devon bills cover expenditure on the house in St. Paul Street, Exeter, and Trehill, and also include bills for estate works. All Devon bill-heads have been listed.
