14 horse power sun & planet engine, with 20¾ inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron connecting rod.Reverse general view of the engine, plan of the engine and boiler, longitudinal section of the boiler; reverse plan and section of the engine house and framing; small press copy section of boiler, Aug. 1803. All the drawings bear letter codes.
Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 448. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 46.
For Ranson & Ellerby. Flour mill, Sunderland. The Catalogue of Old Engines gives the name as "Ransom & Ellerby."
