Gave evidence to the Court of Enquiry held at Hesdin, 23 January 1918, into the losses suffered after the German counter-attacks on Bourlon Wood, Nov 1917.He told the Court that he had kept four guns in the action from a support position until forced to cease-fire to let them cool down.
