Assignment of 500 years
1. Jane Elizabeth Blythe of Broseley, widow, George Goodwin of Coalbrookdale, gent, and John Ashby of Shrewsbury, gent, executors of Francis Turner Blythe late of Broseley, decd., Esq., who was executor in the will of Jane Jenks, widow, executrix of Henry Jenks late of Shrewsbury, gent, decd.
2. John Bather of Shrewsbury, gent.
3. William Corfield of Shrewsbury, timber merchant.
Recital of indenture of 20 December 1748 between Lord Malpas and Hester (1) and Thomas Kynaston (2) leading the uses of a fine.
Recital 12 April 1749 Lord Malpas and Hester (2) Henry Jenks (2) - conveyance on trust to sell.
Recital lease and release of 3 & 4 November 1752 between Lord Malpas and Hester (1) John Roberts, gent (2) The Rev. Thomas Gough, Clerk (3) Henry Jenks and Francis Turner Blythe (4) John Oliver, gent, and John Gardner, Esq (5) reciting mortgages. There was due to F.T. Blythe £3,050. John Oliver agrees for the absolute purchase of part of the premises comprised in the terms of 500 years and 400 years for £1,385, of which £550 is to be paid to Blythe.
So for £550 to Blythe from John Oliver and of £835 to Lord Malpas, conveyance to John Roberts, inter alia, of the tithes in Meole Brace, to be tenant to suffer a recovery, with Thomas Gough, demandant and Lord Malpas and Hester as vouchees.
To the use of Lord Malpas and Hester.
The Recovery was suffered in Michaelmas 1752.
In Michaelmas 1763 Lord Malpas and Hester levied to John Ashby a fine of the tithes. Lord Malpas has died intestate without declaring the uses of the fine. Hester has sold the tithes for £200 by lease and release of 25 & 26 July 1769 (No.11) to John Bather. The sum of £2,500 and interest has been long ago paid to Blythe. So the term of 500 years is conveyed to William Corfield to attend the inheritance. F.T. Blythe died in September 1770 leaving a will. His executors therefore convey the term.
