Position and made a nice mess of everything. Cushion was cooking in the shelter there which was knocked in and he was crushed by beams, etc. The address of his NOK is Mrs Cushion, 17 Ascot Street, off Latimer St, Liverpool. He was apparently the only support of his mother and I'm sending this in case you wish to write to her before your return ( Gale on a course)";Other Notes: CUSHION, Private, MICHAEL, 23749. 164th Coy. Machine Gun Corps. Killed in action 11th November 1916. Age 22. Son of William and Alice Cushion, of 17, Ascot Street, Liverpool. IV. J. 4. Vlamertinghe Military Cemetery - Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.;
