Microfilm copy of a ts account (340pp) of his travels in Iran between 1914 and the mid-1950s, initially as a carpet firm representative and then at the end of the First World War as a 2nd Lieutenant with Dunsterforce, becoming involved in domestic territorial disputes and in welfare operations with regard to Christian refugees in Bidjar, commenting on the unstable political situation in Iran in the early 1920s and developments in the country during the 1930s, describing his employment by the British government on commercial matters in the Middle East during the Second World War, and his observations on the domestic situation in Iran after the war, with particular reference to the coup against Prime Minister Mossadeq in 1953.
