This collection comprises artwork, sketches and notebooks compiled throughout the life of John Thomas Blight. Blight was an archaeologist, publishing books on the antiquities of Penwith. In the mid-1860s, Blight suffered from mental illness and was incarcerated for the remainder of his life in Bodmin Mental Asylum.
