Cadbury Trust. Applicant overview: The Shape Housing Association Ltd. is a housing association that carries out projects to determine how to best meet the housing needs of vulnerable and minority groups, including the black youth population. In 1993 Shape initiated the 'Doors to the Future' project to 1) train individuals in the 'foyer' style of management of supported housing which aims specifically at assisting disadvantaged young people to make the transition from school to work, 2) establish best practice in the management of this type of scheme, and 3) establish a pilot project in the UK. Nature of support: No grants were made. It appears that the Paul S. Cadbury Trust agreed to act as a channel for the project without committing Trust funds to the project. Minutes: No minutes cited.
