Red half-leather album, 317x440mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions. A title stamped in gold on the front cover reads: 'M.T. Indian Tour 1905-1906'. From the photographs it would appear that 'M.T.' was a young woman in the royal household during the Prince of Wales' tour of India. The photographs are, on the whole, amateur snapshots of variable quality with some additional commercially produced prints. The subjects include views and portraits taken during the 1905-06 tour of India and Burma by the Prince and Princess of Wales and more general architectural views. Locations include Bombay, Indore, Jaipur, Bikaner, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Jammu, Amritsar, Lucknow, Gwalior, Calcutta, Barakpur, Rangoon, Mandalay, Madras, Mysore, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Delhi, Agra, Lahore, Attock, Dehra Dun, Mussoorie, Hardwar, Quetta, Chaman, Karachi, Cairo, Port Said, Corfu, Athens, Gibraltar and Portsmouth.
