endorsed by John Elliot, Inner Temple: receipts for five legacies [ie a page missing] for Mr Snashall in respect of his purchase of the Iford estate late Gabriel Ayres; that the other receipts are in the hands of the other executor [John] Griffith; that he paid William Stafford and GA's house-keeper at Lewes '3 or 4 years since'; 23 Dec 1767
