NB: Eight men of 45 Company were killed 23/8/1917. Six have known graves in Tyne Cot Cemetery - the remaining two, (including AV Collins) are commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. However, three of the "known graves" are at L.H.14, L.H.15 and L.H.16, alongside two MGC graves to unknown soldiers. It is too much of a coincidence for them not to be 89043 J Cleghorn and 53853 AV Collins who probably could not be identified.
