Material relating to stage productions at the New Repertory Theatre, Birmingham

The productions will eventually be catalogued in order of start date of production. The dates given cover the period of a production from first to last night. The records in this sub-collection include productions performed by the Birmingham Repertory Theatre or visiting organisations or artists in the theatre's main auditorium, and in the smaller Studio theatre (later renamed The Door). It also includes Birmingham Rep productions performed elsewhere and on tour.

The holdings for the productions are currently briefly described e.g. programme, photographs, script, prompt book, posters, flyer, score etc.

Photographs - production photographs were usually taken during full dress rehearsals and often used for 'front of house' publicity. Rehearsal photographs were frequently used in programmes.

This is a growing collection as the theatre is still active and makes regular transfers of archive material.
