Records of St Paul, Pear Tree Street, Central Street, Finsbury (also known as St Paul, Goswell Road) deposited in the Greater London Record Office in July 1958 (Ac. 58.44), July 1961 (Ac. 61.41), and December 1967 (Ac. 67.91)

Administrative / biographical background

The Church in Pear Tree Street was consecrated in November 1875. Before this date, services were held at a hall in Allen Street (now Dallington Street).

The last marriage register was closed in September 1953 on the union of the parish with St Luke, Old Street (P76/LUK).
