The TNMoC Spreadsheet Collection was created as background research for a contribution to the book “The History of Mathematical Tables: From Sumer to Spreadsheets” (eds. M. Campbell-Kelly et al., OUP 2003).
The collection consists of four classes of materials:
1. Boxed software in the original packaging, including manuals, packaging materials, and media. These include the dominant producers (Microsoft, Lotus, and Software Arts) as well as lesser producers (eg. Computer Associates, Borland).
2. A selection of product-specific published books.
3. A substantial but incomplete run of Lotus Magazine.
4. Product-specific training materials on VHS media. -
