Parties 1) Abraham Quatermaine of Chipping Norton, yeoman. 2a) Matthew Dewes of Chipping Norton, draper. 2b) Elizabeth Jarrett of Banbury, spinster. Property: Recites that 1. and 2b. Intend to marry. In consideration of this, 1. conveys to 2a: Messuage on north side of New St., Chipping Norton late held by Samuel Hodge and 2 adjoining cottages, held by Samuel Hodge and James Roberts, to hold on trust for 1. until the marriage, then for 1. and 2b. and the life of the longest liver of them, then for the heirs male of 1. by 2b. and in default to the heirs of 1. for ever. Recites will of Richard Charles, late of Winchester, Hants, surgeon dated 13 November 1788, confirmed by codicils dated 11 March 1789 and 8 December 1791, whereby he conveyed certain premises to his trustees, John Mant, George Rogers and Timothy Cobb. Recites that part of these premises became the property of the testator's neices, Ann, wife of George Grubb, Elizabeth Jarrett and Sarah Jarrett, sisters which premises are not to be sold until Sarah Jarrett attains her majority. Now, it is agreed between the parties that the premises may be sold by the trustees as if the marriage should not take place. 1.covenants that the share of 2b, shall be vested in 2a. on trust to purchase stock, and to pay the interest to 1. and 2b. for the life of the longest liver of them, then to sell the capital and pay the proceeds to the younger children of the marriage, or if there is only one child to him or her on the decease of his last parent.
