Original Bundle labelled 'Marshwood Deeds prior to 1776 - A' cont:

Two internal original bundles containing deeds relating to a capital messuage called Naish (Nash, Naysshe, etc.) and lands belonging in the parish of Marshwood (co. Dorset) or (as sometimes given) in Whitechurch (co. Dorset), 1537-94(7), 1640-99(26), 1718-58(7), and also referring to property in Axminster (co. Devon), 1718, and including the Wills of Thomasine Fry of Nash, widow, 1657/8 (copy) and Nicholas Bowditch of Martins Towne (co. Dorset), 1683 (copy); and a deed relating to property in Lyme Regis (co. Dorset), 1699. (41 documents).

Internal original bundle containing deeds relating to messuages called Cokeney (Cockeney, Cookeney, etc.) in Whitechurch and Marshwood, 1610-37(3); and also to the Manor of Marshwood (or parts thereof), the Hundred of Whitechurch, and Cricklade Park, 1557/8-1595(7), and also referring to the manors of Chydiocke (co. Dorset), 1566, of Monkenseale alias Zeale Monachorum, Loosebeare and Stokeley Pryorton (co. Devon), and of Wynsforde Ryvers (co. Somerset), 1576, and including the Will of 'Lady Gertrude Marques of Exeter', 1557 (proved P.C.C. 1557/8; probate copy). (10 documents).

Deputation to gamekeeper for the manor of Marshwood alias Marshewood Vale and the Hundred of Whitechurch, 1769. (10 documents).

Leases for 99 years and lives of properties holden of the Manor of Marshwood, 1777-92(13) with notice of assignment of such a lease, 1799, and lease for 3 years of property, parcel of the said Manor, 1785. Deeds etc., in a bundle labelled 'Shave. Manor of Marshwood late Folle 1811', relating chiefly to a messuage called Shaw alias Shave in Marshwood, 1489/90, 1566-99(4), 1610-54(4), 1718-80(16), and also referring to property in Lyme Regis, 1774, and including Wills of Wm. Shawe, 1489/90 (original; sealed) and of Benj. Stone of Lyme Regis, 1718 (proved Sarum 1718/19; two paper copies). Conveyance and Surrender of Mortgages affecting capital messuages etc., called Naish and Shaw alias Shave in Marshwood and Whitechurch Canonicorum, and property in Lyme Regis, 1792(2). Deed affecting John, Earl Poulett, the Manor of Marshwood and the Hundred of Whitechurch, 1815; and an account of repayment of capital and interest on the Marshwood Mortgage, 1820. (44 documents).
