Recital of articles of agreement 8 May 1742
(1) John Prince (2) Sarah Edwards then of the Hurst, Clon spinster (3) Richard Hudson and Edward Edwards
Cons: marriage intended between John Prince and Srah Edwards and £100 fortune. Prince covenanted to lay out at interest on good land security £200 in the name of the trustees who should pay the interest to Prince for life and after the £200 to be for Sarah's sole use, if she should die before Prince, then he should have sole use, and the trustees should assign the principal to him. If Sarah should die without issue, she should have power to dispose of £50 by will.
