LITTLE KINGTON, COMBROOK AND BROOKHAMPTON

Lease and release, the release a conveyance from Thomas Woodward of Butlers Marston esq., Edward Gibbs of Stratford upon Avon esq., Isaac Twycross of Warwick mercer and Thomas Greenway of Warwick gent., trustees under the will of Charlotte Bentley late of Little Kington spinster deceased, the surviving sister and heir at law of Catherine Bentley and Gratiana Bentley both deceased, these three being sisters and coheirs of Edward Bentley esq. deceased, who was the only son and heir of Charles Bentley late of Kington esq. deceased, which said Charlotte devised her estate in the manor of Little Kington, Combrook and Brookhampton to her kinsman Bentley Gordon, fourth son of Alexander Gordon of the city of London merchant and Penelope his late wife, daughter of Charles Bentley late of Naish co. Worcs. esq. deceased, and then an infant of 15 years or thereabouts, to the Rt. Hon. John Peyto Lord Willoughby de Broke for £56. 10. 0. of two allotments of ground in Old Warren quarter allotted to the said trustees by the commissioners under a late act of Parliament for inclosing the common fields within the manor of Little Kington, Combrook and Brookhampton, the Act being dated 1772 and the Award 18 March 1773, the one allotment being in lieu of tithes and the other in lieu of Bentley Gordon's interest as lord of the manor.
