Appeal by Mabe against order of 13 Jan. last for removal of Nicholas Halvosso, Elizabeth his wife, and their children John (17), Richard (10), and Amelia (8) from Penryn, neither [sic] children had gained settlement in his/her own right. Nicholas Halvosso when 15, was bound apprentice, with consent of his surviving parent, to Thomas Bolitho of St. Gluvias, tanner, until age of 21. Indenture, since lost, was dated 16 Oct. 1799. No money was contracted, but the indenture was stamped with 10s. stamps. Court considered it should have been stamped with a further 10s.: order confirmed. Mabe to pay Penryn £5 costs.
