The following series of correspondence has been arranged in a similar fashion to the second series and many of the comments in the introduction to that section apply here. The files also contain additional material (plans, byelaws etc.)
Once again the files have been reconstructed into their original order and the list below includes the W.S.R.O. reference number, the original file number and the subject of the file
Detailed cross references have not been made between the second and third series of correspondence. The searcher should be made aware of the fact that some subjects will be covered in both series and that some files have been transferred from one series of correspondence to the other
Thus, although the bulk of files are between 1950 and 1970, UD/HO/21/3/27 dates from 1937
