p.39. 23 June 1859. Death of Charles Chaplin. A subscription to be launched for a portrait in the grand jury room

p.47. 6 Oct. 1859. Clerk's fees commuted to a salary of £150 a year

William Hopkinson (clerk to the Bourne magistrates for over 52 years), offers his collection of law books as a memorial to Chaplin

p.57. 29 Dec. 1859. Rebecca Hussey's charity considered

p.83. 4 Oct. 1860. Extension to the Lincoln militia storehouse proposed

p. 123. 3 Oct. 1861. Proposal that convicts from quarter sessions awaiting transportation should be lodged in Lincoln gaol

p.193. 25 June 1863. Lt. Col. Fane, commandant of the South Lincoln Militia, abandons his request for an extension to the Grantham storehouse because of the lord lieutenant's disapproval
