1) Humphrey Sandford, gentleman, of the Isle Mathew Sandford, gentleman, of Edgeton.
2) John Dovey, gentleman, of Clements Inn, Middx.
3) Walter Stubbs, jnr, gentleman, of Beckbury, Salop.
In order to bar the entail the Sandfords grant to Dovey (in his possession by a bargain and sale for a year, the day before), the Manor of Edgeton, the Manor of Boyston, asias Bayston, and all buildings and lands belonging, in Edgeton, Beyston, Brunslow, Kempton, Horderley and Woolston, all which messuages, farms and lands now are or late were in the tenures of Mathew Sandford, James Lucas, John Lucas, Jane Owens, widow, John Lloyd, William Watts, Ann Richards, Benjamin Preece, Martha Cockshutt, widow, Thomas Maybrey, Humphrey Johnson, Samuel Eykin, -- Eykin, widow, Elizabeth Gittins, and Henry Kendrick; and the capital messuage in Up Rossall alias the Isle of Up Rossall in the possession of Humphrey Sandford; and the capital messuage called the Lea alias the Leigh or Little Ash in the parish of Whitchurch now in the possession of William Brett; and the houses and lands belonging; to hold to Dovey, his heirs and assigns for ever to the intent that he become perfect tenant to the freehold of the property until a common recovery has been suffered; it was agreed that Stubbs should sue against Dovey who should vouch to warranty Humphrey Sandford; to be to the use of Humphrey Sandford, his heirs and assigns for ever.
