The Lodge of Fidelity was established in 1792 and was named in 1814. In 1792 the lodge met at the Angel, Deansgate, Manchester. In 1798 the lodge left the Angel and moved to Turner's, The King, Oldham Street, Manchester. The lodge continued to move its meeting place and has met at various inns and taverns around Manchester. In 1832 the lodge moved to the Legs of Man, Portland Street, Manchester and this became its last meeting place as the lodge was erased in December 1832.
