Administrative / biographical background

The Jubilee Memorial Fund for Aged and Destitute Governesses was founded in 1887 by Miss M.C. Westall. The Fund amalgamated with the Governesses Benevolent Institution in 1938 and investments were used to fund the Westall Memorial Annuities.
