Details include occupations, remarks as to age, marital status, and numbers of children. Seamen are identified, as are sea fencibles, volunteers, boat officers, and Quakers. Appended, inside cover, is 'Schedule D. Abstract of Sub-Division Roll for the Cinque Ports,' and a list of 'Number of persons liable to serve & of those excepted', August 1803
