Description (What the record is about)
-
A single letter (28 March, 1933), from Herne Hill, London, which reads, almost in entirety: "Dear Madam, Your note reaches me in the country where I mostly live. I shall be at Herne Hill on Friday next & I could find half an hour that afternoon, between 3 & 6, if I heard that you would like to call. But, while I agree regarding the sad conditions in Germany, I hardly see how I can be in any way helpful, & I have no close associations with the country."
