Edna Clarke Hall studied at the Slade School of Art, where she held a scholarship, from 1894 to 1898. She married William Clarke Hall in 1899. A number of exhibitions were held at the Redfern Gallery in London from 1924 to 1941 and she exhibited with the New English Art Club from 1901. She published two books of poetry, 'Poems' (1926) and 'Facets' (1930).
