2. John Atkinson of Mosside in Preston Patrick, gent

Recitals:- Will of John Atkinson, gent, father of (2), late of Ellers in Farleton made 11 January 1838 and proved at Lancaster, 7 July 1838 bequeathing estates in trust to Robert Burrow and Jeffry Hebdon

- Inclosure award, 3 February 1848

- Death of Robert Burrow, 2 March 1865

Premises: all that messuage or dwelling house, garden and barn at Farleton in Beetham parish formerly in occupation of one Jonathan Thexton but now of John Marston; also close on opposite side of highway through Farleton containing 2 roods 9 perches now or lately used as a woodyard and in occupation of John Marston; also cottage with garden and close behind and adjoining and lying between said highway and the Lancaster and Kendal Canal, containing 1 rood 4 perches and now in occupation of John Atkinson, labourer; also close in Farleton called Canal Parrock containing 2 roods 22 perches, now in occupation of (2); also three closes on north and south of road from Farleton to Aikbank or Oakbank in Farleton and lately part of the Aikbank Estate and called Fell Close, Middleton Close and Ash Croft, containing together 10 acres 25 perches now in occupation of (2); also close formerly called High Pasture but now called Lords Land in Lupton containing 14 acres 3 roods 14 perches now in occupation of John Elwood; also allotment in Lupton awarded by Inclosure Commissioners, number 19 and containing 2 acres 18 perches between Crab Tree Road on east, allotment 18 on west and north and allotment 16 on south, now in occupation of John Elwood - all described in schedule; also 8 mossdales on Hale Moss in Beetham parish containing together 8 acres 3 roods 14 perches now in occupations of John Robinson and Abraham Coulthwaite - described in schedule
