[These are the ten small volumes bound together by Birdsall, and referred to in the Preface to Lord Hervey and his Friends by the Earl of Ilchester, 1950
The pagination was contemporary. The letters are roughly in chronological order. The majority are to Stephen Fox (later Lord Ilchester) and to his brother, Henry Fox (later Lord Holland); many of these letters are not addressed by name
