The papers in this collection cover the whole period of the previous collections A, B, C running from 1656 to 1899. The papers were discovered after the collections A, B and C had been deposited. The provenance of the collection is unknown.
There are several common themes running throughout this collection. The principal one relates to the clergy finds. There is also a section of correspondence relating to Pierce Connelly an American Episcopalian and his wife Cornelia. Another theme covering the eighteenth and nineteenth century is that of Catholic Emancipation.
