Description (What the record is about)
-
Enjoyed the breathless, flying tour of England, and thanks RG for his hospitality. Has been trying to learn how to use the Leica camera. Has lost the blue nail brush which belonged to her travelling set, and may have left it at RG's home. The wife of the stockman has died after an operation for goitre. A remarkable man from the war damage people has volunteered to repaint all except the back of the house, and redecorate the ceiling of the Small Library. The lecture given by RG at Harlech was the best part of the tour, and she will not forget the Italians making music on the sands.
