This small collection was deposited in the Nottinghamshire County Records Office by Lt. Col. G.H.F.P. Vere-Laurie, of Carlton Hall, Newark, on 1 October, 1952 (Acc. 137) and 11 October 1957 (Acc. 311). It consists mainly of the 17th-19th century title deeds of the Vere, Egginton and Garnar families to properties in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, the majority of which were still in their original bundles when received
