Estate Papers of Edward Wadham, the Duke of Buccleuch's Agent in Furness from 1854 until his death in 1913. His son, Arthur Edward Montagu Wadham then took over from his father as Agent. The family home was Millwood, Dalton-in-Furness. He was also Mayor of Barrow twice and a Director of the Furness Railway Company, as well as having many other business interests.
