- communications from Senior Regional Officer regarding: air raid shelters near railway stations; air raid shelters on Bank Buildings Site, Bedford; military assistance following heavy air attack; regional staff; Report and Control Centre records; notes on experience gained in air raids since Sep 1940;

- movement of pedestrians during air raid warnings;

- option for persons registering under National Service (Armed Forces) Acts to apply for whole time service with First Aid Parties;

- pay of whole time Air Raid General Precautions Services;

- protected accommodation for Civil Defence personnel;

- communications from Ministry of Health regarding: distribution of nursing staff; article in The Times on evacuation; proposed use of Girls Modern School, Bedford as emergency hospital; use of 27 Park Road East, Bedford as Evacuation Store; appointment of social workers;

- Wardens' Posts at Harrold School Room, 22 Church Lane, Wymington and The Shelter, Pulloxhill, Souldrop Post Office, Constitutional Club, Bedford Road, Kempston, Pavenham Vicarage, Wood End House, Pertenhall, Methodist Sunday School, High Street, Clapham, 30 High Street, Kempston, Lilliman's Bakehouse, Kempston;
