Treasurer to hold these sums at disposal of visiting justices. Clerk to prepare security for lenders. Remainder to be arranged later.

Continued appeal by Crantock against order of 11 Oct. 1815 for removal of Thomas Morris (63) and Elizabeth his wife (63 or 64) from Penryn. T.M. was legally settled in Crantock, went with his wife "several years ago" to Penryn and occupied four rooms of a house at yearly rent of £4, part of a large dwelling valued at £18. Several other tenants occupied the remainder of the house. There was only one outer door and one staircase, and each tenant kept the key of his own apartment. For over three years preceding the removal order T.M. was rated for the whole house, but allowance for the payments was made out of his rent, except in one instance: order reversed. Penryn to pay Crantock £12 costs and maintenance.
