Correspondence, papers and publications collected by Henry J Wilson MP relating to the Indian campaigns of the British Committee for the Abolition of State Regulation of Vice. The files are preserved in the roughly chronological order in which they were kept. See 3AMS/C/03 for Wilson's papers relating to the departmental Cantonments Committee of 1893 on which he sat. The Committee investigated allegations of state regulation of prostitution in British military settlements in India and the desire to prevent venereal disease among British troops there
