Description

Letter of Simon Adolphus, London to Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary explaining that Solomon Morales asked the writer to deliver a letter to Grand Lodge and has since received another referring to the troublesome disposition of Jacob Bassan, Provincial Grand Treasurer. The writer wishes to meet the Grand Secretary to explain the situation and can be contacted via Mr Joseph Spyer, 3 Prescot Street, Goodmans Fields, London. Explains that the Lady Silver packet boat, which Solomon Morales mentions in his letter, is lost.

Provincial Grand Lodge, No. 1 was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge on 1 June 1796 to meet as No. 301 at the Masons' Hall, Port Royal Street, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. The Lodge was erased at the time of the union between the Antients' and Moderns' Grand Lodges to form the United Grand Lodge of England in 1813.
