35 feet long and 16 feet broad in the west end of the Chappell of Pott, with a staircase thereto leading out of the Belfry, given in Letters Testimonial of Peregrine Gastrell, Esq., LL.B., Vicar General and Official Principal of the Rt.Rev.Samuel, bishop of Chester, in pursuance of a Decree of Consistory Court of Chester 25 September 1735 consequent of an Edict published at morning service at the Chappel of Pott 21 September 1735 to a petition from the Curate, Chapelwardens and leading inhabitants of the Chapelry of Pott, parish of Prestbury, county and diocese of Chester. Signed and sealed; Per: Gastrell. Franked withna certificate of concordance with the Decree by Edw: Roberts Dep: Regr.
