Susannah Sandford, spinster, of Shrewsbury bequeaths to the Rev. William Henry Parry now resident with the family of the Duke of Portland £500 which sum was paid by her towards discharging a mortgage of £1,000 upon the tithes of the Isle Estate and which sum of £500 was received by the Rev. John Gibbons and the Rev. John Wilde and was invested in the Government funds as trust money according to the will of her late brother Edward Sandford, decd., upon trust that Parry shall stand possessed and interested in the £500 and the interest on the following trusts: in trust to keep the same at interest on the present security or call up and again place out the same upon Government or real security at interest as occasion shall require and in trust to receive and pay the interest, dividends and yearly proceeds arising from the same to her niece Frances Sandford now the wife of her nephew the Rev. Humphrey Sandford of Shrewsbury, Clerk, or permit her to receive the same for her own use during her life and the same not to be subject or liable to the debts control or management of her husband and on the decease of Frances Sandford on trust that Parry shall call up the £500 and pay the same to her nephew, Humphrey to whom she gives the same accordingly,replying that her nephew will pay and apply the same in part discharge of the incumbrances now upon the Isle Estate, and for the benefit of such of his children who shall be entitled to the same estate; she bequeaths to her sister Frances Holland, widow, of Shrewsbury, £100, first deducting any sum of money she may be indebted to Susannah for or which she may give her before her (Susannah's) death and subject to the payment of her debts, funeral expenses and the costs and charges of proving this will; she gives all the rest of her estate and effects of which she dies possessed to her nephew Humphrey absolutely for ever and directs that Parry shall not be charged with or accountable for more of the trust money than he shall actually receive by virtue of the trusts nor for any loss happening to the same without his neglect or default and it may be lawful for Parry to retain and reimburse himself out of the trust money all such loss, costs and expenses as he shall sustain on account of the execution of the trusts reposed in him; and she nominates and appoints her nephew Humphrey Sandford executor.
Witnesses: John Langley, Clerk, of Shrewsbury, Willm. Cooper, attorney, of Shrewsbury, Joseph Breese, of Shrewsbury, Clerk to Mr. Cooper.
Probate granted 1 February 1821 and administration of her goods, etc. was granted to the Rev. Humphrey Sandford Clerk her nephew the sole executor.

Sworn under £100: on dorse: "the effects have since been sworn under the sum of two hundred pounds" signed Tho. Thornton Stephens, Stamp Office 21 May 1827.
