f 8th May 1758. Letter from ? Greenwollers to Mr. Brock attorney at Chester, from Clifford's Inn. Informs him that the court has that day granted a rule to show cause against Mrs. Daffy and Mrs. Brereton, which he has drawn up and enclosed so that a copy may be served on Mrs. Brereton. Mr. Yates thinks that the case cannot be grounded on an information in the nature of a Quo Warranto.

g 15th April 1758. Copy of affidavit of Peter Ellames of the city of Chester, Alderman, and John Cotgreave of the same Alderman, concerning Gloverstone and markets in the City and tolls from them. 2ff.
