The author writes to the Lord President concerning the hearing of his two causes in the House of Lords, which he hears by Mr Annesley would not have happened this session without the influence of Lord Carleton. He adds that he cannot express the satisfaction he has in seeing the end of these causes which have harassed him for nearly 20 years. He writes of his obligation to Lord Carleton and apologises for using an amanuensis due to his hand suffering with gout. Written from Dublin. Signed 'Will. Dublin'.
